​Fund administration

The funding through YES! is designed as a once-off, non-refundable, non-renewable scholarship. This means that there is no expectation of paying back the money received, or any work payback required. Successful students are expected to submit a copy of their academics in June and December, as well as a progress report on their personal experience during the course of the year.

Potential recipients

The programme partners with the university directly to identify suitable candidates for funding, based on the requirements from YES! Direct applications to YES! are therefore not required or considered.

Interested donors

Since the fund is entirely privately funded by individuals, the programme is always on the lookout for new donors to sponsor the scholarship. University fees increase every year and students are at risk of not being able to receive their degrees upon completion, if they have not settled their fee account.

All donations go directly towards the scholarship and Section 18(a) tax certificates can be issued on request. Donations can be accommodated monthly or as a lump sum.
